Dekko inundated with leads following appearance on hit ITV show

Dekko's RAUM aluminium bi-fold door

Premium product fabricator Dekko Window Systems has been inundated with leads following an appearance on the hit ITV programme Love Your Home and Garden, which is hosted by renowned presenter Alan Titchmarsh.

Dekko’s luxurious RÄUM aluminium bi-folding doors featured prominently on the ‘Get the Look’ section of the programme, which shows a close up of key products and guide prices, and within minutes, enquiries came flooding into the RÄUM and Dekko websites. Dekko had over 100 leads on the night of the show, with more filtering in over the following days.

“We were delighted with the response,” commented Sales Director Kurt Greatrex. “Most enquiries were from homeowners, and we passed these on to our trade customers. Interestingly though, around 30% of the leads came from businesses such as installers, builders and joiners, so we were able to go direct to these customers ourselves.”

RAUM aluminium bi-folding doors

Dekko initially decided to get involved in the programme after hearing about the tragic circumstances of the family in Banbury that was going to feature in the episode.

Kurt explains: “The mother had gone almost entirely blind after suffering a stroke, and was then diagnosed with breast cancer, forcing her to leave her job. The house was completely unsuitable for her needs, and Alan Titchmarsh and his team wanted to design a layout that would let more natural light into the home and allow for an easy transition from the home into the garden. ITV asked if we could supply a set of RÄUM aluminium bi-folds and we were more than happy to help.”

The RÄUM aluminium bi-fold is a premium door features super slim sightlines and can be used to open up entire walls, with two to seven panel combinations creating entranceways up to 7m across.

It is available in hundreds of colours, including White Sand and Space Grey, and a choice of matt, gloss or special Coatex finish. A realistic wood effect finish is available for consumers who prefer traditional aesthetics.

A whole new weld for Dekko’s Infinity uPVC range as sales skyrocket by 80%

Greater Manchester-based uPVC and aluminium fabricator , Dekko Window Systems are celebrating rocketing sales of its premium, Infinity uPVC range

In what has already been one of the firm’s most successful years in its history, trailblazing fabricator Dekko Window Systems is celebrating rocketing sales of its premium, Infinity uPVC range.

The firm which specialises in premium uPVC and aluminium products, has seen sales of its Infinity range of seamlessly welded uPVC windows grow by an impressive 80% compared to the same period last year. Kurt Greatrex, Sales Director at Dekko, believes Infinity’s success is attributed to creating a strong upselling opportunity for installers and a viable route to market to meet extensive consumer demand for premium products:

“It comes as no great surprise for us to see Infinity continue to soar, because it provides installers with the optimal solution to break into the thriving premium market,” explains Kurt. “Infinity helps installers rise above their competitors by offering something that is truly unique and far beyond the standard white uPVC windows their rivals are selling down the street.”

The Infinity range is Dekko’s unique stamp on Deceuninck’s high-performance 2500 and 2800 systems, combining three distinct styles; chamfered, sculptured and the star of the range, the flush sash. What separates Infinity from its rivals is a pioneering seamless weld, achieved by innovative graf welding technology – still new to the UK. This eliminates the ugly corner grooves which are synonymous with uPVC and allows Infinity to succeed in the high-end, premium market.

The smooth, timber-like appearance, along with a stunning range of premium woodgrain foils including Irish Oak, Rosewood and Nut Tree, all come together to create one of the most authentic timber-alternative collections on the market. Traditional aesthetics can be taken even further with heritage ironmongery, optional Georgian bars and dummy peg stays.

“Our approach at Dekko has always been customer-first, because if they are thriving then so are we,” adds Kurt. “That’s why we’ve developed three strong brands in Infinity, The Residence Collection and Räum, our aluminium range – offering installers everything they could possibly need to raise their profile, make more sales and ultimately take their business to the next level.”

“I believe the success can be attributed to the combination of quality products and all-encompassing marketing support thanks to our ‘Make It Yours’ initiative. This isn’t just overprinting brochures like many fabricators offer, this is an expansive strategy including fully customisable material which matches the installer’s brand and helps to build a stronger identity.

Installers instantly have more authority thanks to professional point of sale material, online content and powerful showroom support.”

Dekko Windows Systems was founded in 2008 by Gary Torr and Kurt Greatrex, and is one of the leading fabricators of high-end uPVC and aluminium windows and doors. Based in Greater Manchester, Dekko was listed in the 2016 edition of the London Stock Exchange’s 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain. Dekko’s windows to wow show-goers at FIT

Award-winning Dekko Window Systems are adding stylish aluminium windows to their much-celebrated Räum Collection.

Award-winning Dekko Window Systems are adding stylish aluminium windows to their much-celebrated Räum Collection.

Launched to great acclaim in 2015, Dekko’s Räum Collection range originally consisted of sleek, high-performing aluminium doors, inspired by the outstanding quality and design of German manufacturing.

Seeing increasing demand for high-end home improvement products from increasingly discerning end users, Dekko has now responded by adding window products that it hopes will help installers capitalise on that trend.

Dekko Sales Director Kurt Greatrex commented: “The original Räum Collection proved so successful it was inevitable that we would add windows to the range at some stage. We’ve based them on the Reynaers profile – renowned for its strength, style and fantastic energy efficiency. Now, our trade customers can offer homeowners a complete package of high-end aluminium.”

The new Räum Collection windows will be among the array of best-in-class products Dekko will be bringing to Birmingham in May, when it makes its FIT Show debut. Numerous examples of the fabricator’s cutting-edge Infinity PVCu corner-welding process will also be on display. Faithfully replicating traditional timber with all the benefits of state-of-the-art PVCu, Infinity combines A+ rated energy efficiency and British Standard PAS24-accredited security with one of the smoothest corner welds on the market.

“The FIT Show offers us the perfect platform to introduce Räum Collection windows to the industry,” Kurt continues. “We all know it’s getting harder for installers to stand out in an increasingly competitive market, and a full suite of stylish, robust, thermally excellent aluminium window and door products offer them a fantastic way to do that. We look forward to sharing more about them at the FIT Show in May – but if you’ve got any questions in the meantime, don’t hesitate to get in touch!”

Dekko to make bold debut at The FIT Show

Kurt Greatrex, Sales Director at Dekko Windows

Fast-growing Dekko Window Systems is marking the latest stage of its expansion with a landmark debut at this year’s FIT Show.

One of the country’s leading manufacturers of PVCu and aluminium windows, Dekko has spent the last decade investing millions in infrastructure and innovative new products. In recent years, it’s built a new factory and added no less than ten new products to an already extensive range. But now that groundwork has been put in place, Dekko has decided the time is right to take the stand at the industry’s biggest trade event, as Sales Director Kurt Greatrex explains:

“We’ve made massive strides in the last few years – expanding and refining production, developing and launching high-end products and laying the foundations for future growth. Now, we’re heading to the FIT Show with a lot to shout about – and it provides us with the perfect platform to showcase the fantastic range we’ve been able to develop.”

In addition to its exclusive Räum Collection of aluminium doors and Infinity seamless-cornered PVCu frames, Dekko has also become the UK’s largest Residence 9 fabricator – the only one in the country with a dedicated R9 facility.

Due to its success, Dekko now offers the full Residence Collection, adding three further timber-effect PVCu windows to its range. The R7 and R² joined R9, allowing installers to meet any demand within the lucrative heritage market. Dekko will be showcasing the complete Residence Collection at The FIT Show for visitors to see.

“We’re hugely excited to be taking to the FIT Show for the first time, and meeting old friends and new prospects from around the country,” Kurt concluded.

Deceuninck Flush Sash now available with Dekko’s exclusive Infinity finish

Kurt Greatrex, Sales Director at Dekko Windows

Innovative fabricator Dekko is now able to offer Deceuninck’s new flush sash window in its exclusive Infinity finish, continuing to expand an extensive timber-alternative offering that already includes the phenomenally successful Residence Collection.

Deceuninck’s big reveal at the FIT Show in April, the Heritage flush sash has been designed to deliver A+-rated energy efficiency, PAS24-accredited security and outstanding weather performance, while offering convincing vintage aesthetics and suiting with the company’s existing Heritage range.

Now, thanks to revolutionary graf welding technology, Dekko is able to push that authenticity even further, providing the product with seamless, timber-style Infinity corner welds. The resulting Infinity flush sash offers all the durability, efficiency and functionality of modern PVCu, while even more closely replicating the look of a nineteenth century timber flush sash window.

“At Dekko, we’re always looking for ways to give our customers more options to break into lucrative areas of the market,” commented Kurt Greatrex, Dekko Sales Director. “Starting with Residence 9, and now with the expanded Residence Collection, we’ve been able to develop a comprehensive timber-alternative offering – but this year, we wanted to extend that even further. We were hugely impressed with the Heritage Flush Sash when Deceuninck unveiled it at the FIT Show – and we’re delighted to become among the few UK fabricators able to offer it with smooth, seamless corners.”

Founded in 2008 by Gary Torr and Kurt Greatrex, Dekko Window Systems has firmly established itself as one of the UK’s leading Residence 9 and Deceuninck fabricators. Operating from its 50,000 square foot facility in Ashton-under-Lyne, Dekko was recently named one of the 1,000 Businesses to Inspire Britain by the London Stock Exchange. Dekko has expanded its offering to include the complete Residence Collection.

Dekko grows premium door range with Deceuninck’s Slider 24

Deceuninck's Slider 24 now available at Dekko Windows

Fast-growing fabricator Dekko Window Systems has expanded an already industry-leading door offering with the addition of Deceuninck’s Slider 24.

Designed as a best-in-class sliding door solution, the Slider 24 was the result of exhaustive research carried out by Deceuninck’s R & D division. They extensively tested leading sliding doors already on the market, examining them in detail, with the aim of producing a product that surpassed them in all areas.

The resulting door delivers A+-rated energy efficiency, PAS24-accredited security, and market-leading weather resistance performance – Slider 24 achieves Class E8A water permeability with a rating of 450Pa, Class A3 wind resistance of 1200Pa and Class A4 air permeability with a rating of 600Pa.

Kurt Greatrex, Sales Director for Dekko commented: “Over the past few years, we’ve invested extensively in expanding our premium door offering, to the extent that it’s now one of the most impressive in the UK. First, we introduced our Räum collection of top-of-the-range doors – and now we’ve increased customer choice even further, with another great patio door that offers superb weather resistance, robust security, and comes in a stunning range of colours. There’s huge appetite out there for this kind of product, and we predict Slider 24 will go on to be one of the most popular products in its class.”

Dekko’s much-celebrated Räum collection is comprised of a number of luxurious high-end doors, including the Glieten range of aluminium bifold doors and the Terassi range of patio doors. The Glieten 77 is the most premium bifold door in the Räum range, boasting PAS24 Secured By Design accreditation, along with air, wind and water resistance up to 600Pa, balancing performance with a sleek, stylish premium design.

Dekko Window Systems was founded in 2008 by Gary Torr and Kurt Greatrex and has firmly established itself as one of the UK’s leading Residence 9 and Deceuninck fabricators. Operating from its 50,000 square foot facility in Ashton-under-Lyne, Dekko was recently named one of the 1,000 Businesses to Inspire Britain by the London Stock Exchange.

Dekko’s Infinity frames help Emerald Windows go from strength to strength

Raum Infinity Frame

Swindon-based Emerald Windows has quickly established itself as one of the leading home improvement brands in the South of England – and now, the fast-growing firm has begun offering Dekko Window System’s ground-breaking Infinity range of seamlessly-welded PVCu.

Unlike normal PVCu window and door frames that feature a 3.5mm corner groove, Infinity frames are manufactured using a state of the art graph welding machine to achieve a choice of superior finishes – a totally smooth, seamless corner join on all laminated profiles, and a thinner, more subtle 1.5mm line on all non-laminated ones.

“With its sleek-looking smooth-cornered frames, Infinity provides us with a valuable USP that really helps us stand out in the increasingly crowded PVCu market,” commented Emerald managing director Martin Brett.

The decision to adopt Infinity comes as Emerald cements its relationship with Dekko – most notably by beginning to offer Deceuninck PVCu products through the Ashton-Under-Lyne based fabricator.

“Deceuninck always carry 26 colourways from stock, and this in turn means Dekko are able to offer us a very fast turnaround on coloured windows and doors,” Martin continued. “Demand for coloured frames is increasing all the time so the combination of a wide colour choice and fast turnaround is very appealing.”

Dekko Sales Director Kurt Greatrex commented: “Emerald are a fantastic company to work with, and a natural fit for our business. We’re delighted they’re now offering Deceuninck and our exclusive range of Infinity windows and doors, and we’re looking forward to working with them more closely in the weeks and months ahead.”

Established in 1998, Dekko Window Systems is one of the UK’s most respected fabricators of aluminium and high-end PVCu doors and windows. The firm was recently named as one of the 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain in the 2016 London Stock Exchange report, and operates from a state-of-the-art 55,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Ashton-Under Lyne.

Emerald Windows offer windows, doors and conservatories from their Swindon headquarters, servicing Reading, Bath, Bristol, Marlborough, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire and other areas within an hour’s radius of Swindon.

The Residence Collection now available from Dekko

Residence Collection Range now available at The Dekko Window System

Dekko, one of the country’s biggest suppliers of the much-celebrated Residence 9 window system, will now begin offering all the products in the newly-expanded Residence Collection, the company has announced.

Launched three years ago, R9 quickly became the benchmark by which all other classic-look timber alternative windows were judged, thanks to its incomparable vintage aesthetics. Now R9 has been joined by R7, R8, and R². R7 comes with seven chambers, and a chamber depth of 75mm; R8 has eight chambers, and a depth of 85mm; and the squarer, more contemporary-looking R² has nine chambers, and a depth of 100mm.

“R9 was a fantastic product, and we were one of its earliest and most enthusiastic adopters,” said Dekko Sales Director Kurt Greatrex. “Now, with the three new additions to the Residence Collection, Eclectic Systems have instantly made the range so much more versatile. After seeing so much success with R9, we’re really looking forward to introducing R7, R8, and R² to our customers. We’ll be fabricating them in a specially designated area of the factory to make the process as efficient as possible – and we’re delighted to be able to offer R8 and R9 with smooth, seamless finishes thanks to our state of the art Graf welder machine. What’s more, we’re one of the very few companies able to offer these products nationwide.”

Like R9, all three new additions to the Residence Collection can be fitted with either 28mm double or 44mm triple glazing, and deliver both an A++ energy rating and U-Values of just 0.7.

The expanded Residence Collection adds even more choice to an already extensive Dekko portfolio that includes products from Deceuninck, Reynaers and Kommerling, as well as the fabricator’s signature Räum range of high-end doors, and the recently released Räum Infinity selection of Graf welded PVCu.

Established in 1998, Dekko Window Systems is one of the north-west region’s most respected fabricators of aluminium and high-end PVCu doors and windows. Today, the company operates from a 55,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Ashton-under-Lyne.
