Dekko

2008: Dekko opens its doors

Dekko Window Systems is established as a PVC fabricator by industry experts Gary Torr and Kurt Greatrex, and serves installers with high-quality windows and doors.

2010: Expanded offering

Dekko adds glazed frames with an astragal bar to its range, and expands its colour offering from Deceuninck.

2013: Strategic partnerships

After seeing continued success, Dekko opens a brand new, state-of-the-art 55,000 square foot factory in Ashton-Under-Lyne, allowing for increased production and capacity.

The company takes on fabrication of Residence Collection windows and doors, and becomes the only UK fabricator to have dedicated manufacturing space for the new and upcoming timber-effect uPVC brand.

Dekko also teams up with leading full-service marketing agency Purplex, forging a relationship that will last for many years and will help the company achieve successful year-on-year growth.

2015: A move to seamless

Dekko embarks on a strategic partnership with machinery expert Haffner, and invests in a Graf Synergy machine, the world’s first seamless quad machine that combines the highest V-Perfect technology and innovation with the utmost simplicity of use.

uPVC windows with a traditional look

2016: To Infinity and beyond

Dekko launches Infinity, its unique and market-leading uPVC range of windows and doors that are recognisable by their timber-like corner joints and smooth clean lines.

The company also purchases another first, a Graf Synergy cill welder, giving customers a superior cill weld finish.

2017: A year of firsts

Dekko takes on Reynaers aluminium in an exclusive partnership and expands into the aluminium market with the launch of Räum, a premium range of aluminium windows, bi-folds, and sliding patio doors, all boasting sophisticated slimline frames and optimum performance.

That same year, Räum hits the small screen and is featured on the hit ITV programme Love Your Home and Garden, hosted by renowned presenter Alan Titchmarsh, generating over 100 leads for the website in just one evening.

Dekko also launches ‘Make it Yours’, a comprehensive marketing package designed to match its customers’ brand and directly target their customer base.

The company also attends its first FIT Show, proving a big hit with the launch of Slider 24 from Deceuninck.

2018: Glazing success

Dekko sponsors the first-ever Glazing Summit, the industry’s biggest ever conference hosted by Purplex. The company has sponsored the grand event every year since, and is today a household name at the leading industry event.

2019: Move to smart tech

Dekko partners with smart tech giant Kubu, incorporating the smart security lock into many of its front door offerings and giving trade customers a key tool to get ahead of the market.

The company returns to the FIT Show, this year launching the Deceuninck flush door, the first dedicated flush door product.

2020: Expanding premises

Following increased demand for high-end aluminium products, Dekko opens a new 25,000 square foot aluminium factory, significantly ramping up the production of Räum.

This record-breaking year also sees Dekko being shortlisted for the ‘Manufacturing Excellence’ Award at the prestigious Amazon Scale-Up Awards by Business Leader, in recognition of outstanding manufacturing ethos, productivity, and business performance.

2022: Big changes for Dekko

Dekko starts the year by selling a 70% share of the business to leading European window group Inwido, a financial backing that sets up the business for new product investment, increased production, and general company growth.

Following a prestigious ‘Fabricator of the Year’ finalist spot in the G-Awards, Dekko adds the Decalu 88 bi-fold and entrance door to its Räum range, two market-leading products that help installers tap into an increasingly competitive market.

2023: Into the future

Thanks to a multi-million pound exclusivity agreement with machinery expert Haffner, Dekko officially launches the worlds’ first fully seamless window. Complete with unique reverse butt welding, the window is also equipped with Kubu smart security sensors, making it a truly revolutionary product.
