In June 2016, Dekko managing director Gary Torr is taking part in the GM Fundraising Border2Border Cycling Challenge, an event which is proudly sponsored by our PVC-u profile supplier Deceuninck.
The aim of the challenge is to raise much needed funds for Hope House Children’s Hospices, a charity that offers a wide range of services for life limited children and their families.
The ride, which is being billed ‘the toughest yet’ from GM Fundraising, will take place over 11 days and will span 2,016 miles between Vancouver, Canada and Tijuana, Mexico, and will offer up more than 92,000 feet of climbing with temperatures in excess of 40 degrees. In preparation for the gruelling event, Gary recently completed an intense five-day training camp in Mallorca, covering 300 miles and 17,000 feet of climbing.
Gary commented: “Hope House provides a wide range of care and support services, all of which are delivered by a team experienced doctors, nurses and other care professionals. It is a fantastic charity and one that I am delighted to support.”
To make a donation, simply visit Gary’s Just Giving page: www.justgiving.com/fundraising/torrb2b
Every donated penny goes directly to Hope House. Travel, food and accommodation costs are paid by the team individuals, so you can be confident your donation will not be diluted in any way. By selecting Gift Aid, a further 25% will be added to your donation.
Sales director Kurt Greatrex concluded: “On behalf of everyone at Dekko, I’d like to wish Gary and the rest of the GM Fundraising team the very best of luck.”
"Ordered double glazed window for our shop. Dealt with Nathan on the Trade Counter, who was excellent and went above and beyond the usual customer service. Window was very well made and arrived with no problems. Fast delivery and would highly recommend."
"Recently used Dekko Windows to supply the windows and aluminium bi-fold doors for our renovation project. We paid a short visit to their showroom where Rob and Neil were really helpful, showing us around and providing options for us. We were really happy with the whole process and the windows look fantastic. Would definitely recommend this company."
"I've been using Dekko Windows for a number of years now and have been very happy with the level of service and products. Rob and Neil have never failed to get back to me promptly with quotes and lead times etc and Leon the delivery guy is always happy, friendly and helpful whenever unloading frames on site."
"Excellent service. It's always a joy to deal with Rob, Neil and Leon. They always go out of their way to assist me with my projects and are very professional and friendly. Thanks again to the Swindon Dekko Team!"
