Dekko Window Systems celebrates 10 years at the top

The UK’s foremost fabricator of high-end home improvement products, Dekko Window Systems, is celebrating a dominant decade in business. Founded at the tail-end of 2007 by Gary Torr and Kurt Greatrex, Dekko made its name as the reliable trade supplier of high-quality Deceuninck uPVC windows, claiming a larger market share with every passing year thanks to exceptional craftsmanship, a reliable service and fast turnarounds, in particular of foiled products.

Dekko’s eureka moment came when the Greater Manchester firm saw the industry landscape move towards premium products and launched Residence 9, the timber-look flush sash window, back in in 2013 and focused entirely on Deceuninck products and their colour from stock. Dekko quickly grew to become the largest fabricator of the Residence Collection and Deceuninck products, prompting them to move from their original 25,000 square foot factory in Bredbury, to an all-new 55,000 square foot factory in Ashton-Under-Lyne.

Soon after the factory move Dekko launched Räum, the high-end aluminium brand in cooperation with Reynaers, and invested in cutting edge Graf Welding technology enabling them to manufacture uPVC frames with seamlessly welded joints – a range they call Infinity.

Dekko will be marking their special anniversary with a customer open day held at their headquarters in the New Year. “The open day will be an opportunity to reveal our new showroom, which will be kitted out with our latest product innovations,” Kurt concluded.
